I thought it might be useful to share some other perspectives from intersex people\/people with DSDs, so I\u2019m going to start a collection called DSDvoices. I hope this provides intersex people\/people with DSDs with a space in which they can tell their stories and talk about themselves and their conditions without fear of being criticised or attacked by political activists. Interesex\/DSD is not a monolith. It encompasses a broad range of conditions, affecting people from all walks of life. I hope DSDvoices helps people to understand this and goes some way to fighting the stigmas produced by the unhelpful mainstream media narrative that we\u2019re all hermaphrodites with identity issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
